Delivery Time

You should allow two weeks for delivery.  All our art is “produced to order”, which can take up to five business days during peak periods.  Shipping can take a week or so.

Shipping Cost

The cost for shipping depends on the size and weight of your order.  (We do not “markup” shipping…)

When your item is shipped, you will be sent a carrier “tracking number”.

Items can be shipped to Canada and other international addresses.  Shipments to APO / FPO addresses are subject to certain size restriction and may take longer for delivery.

Cancelation, Refunds, Returns, Replacements 

If your art arrives flawed or damaged, we will send a replacement. Despite the best packaging, damage can occur in shipping.  Please keep all packaging.  Take photos of any damage to both packaging and artwork, and send them to us in an email with details, including your order number.   A replacement item will be sent to you at no cost.

Each item is custom produced “to order”.  As such, we cannot accept returns, or offer refunds or exchanges.  Likewise, orders cannot be cancelled once they enter production.  If an item has been ordered in error, there is a short window (hours) prior to the start of production when cancelation may be possible – contact me immediately at (director@ShadowAndLightGallery.com).

Product details 

Canvas Prints  Our canvas is an elegantly textured soft-matte material with a gloss coating to enhance image detail.  The material includes some elastic polymers to provide the strength and flexibility needed for gallery wrap without cracking.  Our canvas prints are museum grade, with both the canvas and inks rated to 100-year rated archival standards.

We offer gallery wrapping - the traditional gallery look – with the canvas stretched over a wooden frame with a 3/4"or 1-1/2" depth. Traditionally, gallery wrapping does not include a backing.

Fine Art Prints We offer a choice of archival grade papers:

Luster:  A crisp semi-gloss surface for maximum detail, without the annoying reflectivity of gloss papers.

Smooth Fine Art: A bright white smooth matte surface.

Watercolor Fine Art: An extra heavy weight, textured surface

Frames  Our frames are handmade from natural wood grown in sustainably managed forests.  They come with sealed backing and are ready-to-hang.

Metal Prints are a relatively new medium.  Images are sublimated (infused) into a gloss aluminum plate.  The result is a high detail print, which may seem so luminous that it appears to be backlit....  Metal prints come ready-to-hang, using our “float mount”.  These prints are very durable and can be hung indoors (even in a shower…), or outdoors.

Mugs Our high-quality white ceramic mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, and come in both 11 or 15 ounce sizes.

Phone Covers Molded from nearly indestructible amorphous polymers, these are available to fit most cell phones.

Puzzles Our premium puzzles are 11x14 inches with 252 pieces, and come boxed with a cover image.  Some of our puzzles are “vertical format”, but a quirk in our website software shows them “sideways”…
