Artist’s Statement:

Do flowers echo the stars… or do stars echo the flowers? In this triptych style image, an arc of Moon Orchids unfolds in succession, each bloom suspended in darkness like a constellation caught mid-formation. Their repetition suggests a larger order—the same symmetry that shapes galaxies, spirals, and unseen currents of the universe.

By isolating the orchids against black, their forms take on a cosmic presence. Petals glow like distant bodies of light, while their soft curvature creates a rhythm that feels both botanical and celestial. The triptych format reinforces this sense of movement and expansion, suggesting connections across space—between bloom and bloom, and perhaps between the intimate and the infinite.

This work hangs in that question without answering it, offering instead a  sense of wonder: that the smallest living forms may carry the same design language as the stars.
