Title: Floral Eclipse
Subtitle: Where petals meet the sun, and light becomes shadow.
Reference: backlit daisy eclipse effect, sun halo floral silhouette, blue sky fine art botanical photography, light corona petals macro nature wall art
Artist’s Statement:
Here, the daisy becomes a celestial body—its center darkened, its petals in radiant corona. Shot into the sun, the flower interrupts the light just enough to create a moment of visual eclipse, where brilliance and obscurity coexist. The surrounding blossoms drift in orbit, smaller but no less essential.
This image leans into the idea that something as ordinary as a field flower can momentarily assume the gravity of something cosmic. It is a study in alignment—of light, angle, and timing—where the familiar transforms into the sublime.
That alignment can be at home anywhere.
